How to move off Jobber in one weekend.
A realistic step-by-step for a solo operator or small crew. No agency, no consultant — just you, your Jobber login, and a Saturday.
- Step 1 · Friday night
Export from Jobber
In Jobber, go to Settings → Data & Exports and download CSVs for Clients, Requests, Quotes, Jobs, and Invoices. Save a folder named `jobber-export-{date}` — you'll want a copy for records even after you cancel.
- Step 2 · Saturday morning
Import into CoreCommand
Create your CoreCommand workspace (14-day trial). Open Settings → Imports and upload the customers CSV first. Map columns to CoreCommand fields, preview every row, and confirm. Repeat for any additional CSVs you want to bring across.
- Step 3 · Saturday afternoon
Rebuild active jobs
Historical closed jobs stay in Jobber for your records. Recreate only the jobs you have on the books for the next 2–3 weeks — usually 10–30 jobs. Add them in CoreCommand with the correct customer, address, crew, and price.
- Step 4 · Sunday
Set up crews and payments
Invite your crew, connect Stripe to accept card payments, add your logo to quotes and invoices, and send yourself a test invoice from your phone to confirm the flow.
- Step 5 · Week 1–2
Parallel-run
Run both systems for two weeks. Every job that comes in goes into CoreCommand; keep Jobber open only to look up old records. This is the safety net — if anything is missing, you'll find it in these two weeks.
- Step 6 · End of week 2
Cancel Jobber
Download one final export from Jobber for your records and cancel. Your customer list, active jobs, and payment flow are all in CoreCommand now.
What transfers — and what stays in Jobber
We'd rather be honest up front than surprise you two weeks in.
- Customers (name, phone, email, address) — via CSV
- Open invoice balances — re-enter as new invoices
- Active job list — rebuild in CoreCommand
- Jobber's internal audit trail / activity log
- Historical closed jobs (keep the Jobber export for records)
- Live 2-way sync with Jobber (CSV import is one-way, on your schedule)
Ready for the weekend?
Start your trial tonight, do the import Saturday, run parallel for two weeks, cancel Jobber. That's the whole plan.
CoreCommand is not affiliated with Jobber. This guide is provided as-is; confirm export options in your current Jobber plan.
